Museum of Natural History

Some drawings were done in Animal Drawing Class that I took for 8 evenings last fall. It was a cool experience to go into the empty museum and spend the evening there when it was just us in the building except occasional private banquet guests. It was very quiet and easy to concentrate. We often sat infront of the many dioramas and did sketches and drawings. The dioramas are amazing. We learned that a lot of artists put great efforts together to recapture every datail of the animals and the environments at the time. Amazing resources.

Central Park

It was all quite fun to draw people doing different things on the park lawn. I loved the way they were all relaxed with or wihtout purposes. As I was drawing them, I started imagining them to be sculptures in park.
